Vivienne Dias - Founder YogaVibe/Yoga Teacher Vivienne is a mother of two amazing children and has a nursing background of 10yrs. Vivienne discovered yoga after the birth of her second child, initially starting yoga purely on a physical level and was a way to get back into shape. After experiencing her first yoga class, laying so peacefully in savasana, Vivienne realized she had found her lifeline back to herself. Soon after discovering yoga in 2003 Vivienne enrolled in a 321hr two year teacher training at YogaWest. Since graduating Vivienne has attended intensives/workshops with Simon Borg-Olivier (Applied Anatomy & Physiology of Yoga), John Scott (Astanga), Mathew Sweeny (Astanga) and Duncan Peak (Power Yoga) & Margaret Ceresoli (Iyengar). In January 2008 Vivienne opened the doors to her YogaVibe studio, taking her passion to a new level. Vivienne believes in making yoga accessible to all and teaches styles from a gentle Hatha class to teaching a dynamic, strong and heartfelt Vinyasa class which is where her passion lies. Students are invited to embrace the present moment, surrender from conditioning of the mind and body, becoming more aware of their true self and to live life from the heart. Yoga is more than exercise it is a way of life. "Live as if you were to die tomorrow, learn as if you were to live forever". Mahatma Ghandi |

Zayra - Yoga Teacher I attended my very first yoga class 8 years ago, and since then I have not been able to get off my mat. My early years began with Iyengar Yoga where I was able to gain the benefits of proper alignment in postures. I then transitioned into Ashtanga Yoga, where I began to be more aware of my breath and where I realised the power of the breath during yoga practice. The past few years I have been practising Jivamukti Yoga, which is also dynamic style of yoga with a strong Ashtanga influence. The style of Yoga I teach is a blend of all that I have learnt and practised through my many wonderful experiences. It is a flowing vinyasa style, incorporating the breath with each movement. What we do in our yoga class not only enables us to get physically stronger, but we also get intangible benefits that we may not see, but we can feel. Yoga helps us to control and deepen our breath and when we do this we start to control and calm the mind. We revitalise ourselves because we make the connection between our body, mind, and the present. Yoga teaches me to listen to my body, to be content, and to be blissful. "Yoga is a light, which once lit, will never dim. The better your practice, the brighter the flame". B.K.S Iyengar |
