Vivienne Dias - Founder,
Yoga Teacher

Vivienne is a mother of two amazing children and has a nursing background of 10yrs. Vivienne initially started yoga purely on a physical level and was a way to get back into shape. After experiencing her first yoga class, laying so peacefully in savasana, Vivienne realized she had found her lifeline back to herself. Soon after discovering yoga in 2003 Vivienne enrolled in a two year part time teacher training at YogaWest. Since graduating Vivienne has studied with  Simon Borg-Olivier (Applied Anatomy & Physiology of Yoga), John Scott (Astanga), Mathew Sweeney (Astanga), Twee Merrigen (Prana Flow), Bryan Kest (Power), Noah Maze (Anusara), Kathryn Budig (Vinyasa) & John Friend (Founder Anusara)

YogaVibe was established in January 2008 by Vivienne Dias. Opening the doors to her YogaVibe studio and taking her passion to a new level, offering this transformative practice to the people of South Western Sydney. Vivienne believes in making yoga accessible to all and teaches styles from a gentle Hatha class to teaching a dynamic, strong and heartfelt Vinyasa class which is where her passion lies. Vivienne's practice has been strongly influenced by Anusara Yoga and she has commenced the teacher training process of this style. Students are invited to embrace the present moment, surrender from conditioning of the mind and body, becoming more aware of their true self and to live life from the heart. Yoga is more than exercise it is a way of life.

Fiona Wissink - Studio Manager & Hot Hatha Yoga Teacher

My name is Fiona Wissink, and after my first Hot Yoga class I remember coming home and telling my husband what happened. After I thought I had build some stamina at the gym I barely survived this experience but… I liked it. I was inspired for more.

Fast forward a couple of months a whole new world had opened up and I changed my life for the better.
I started studying nutrition. This interest started from my own personal experience. Not only was I overweight, I was also unhealthy. I devised a new approach which resulted in me losing 28 kilo’s and gaining a happier ‘Self’. I finally felt balanced, strong and energized.
Quickly I got to place where yoga is the most important thing in my life; I was the geek who signed up for a 101-day yoga challenge and therefore ‘pausing’ my social life, I was more interested in who’s teaching the 6 pm class at my local studio and if maybe I could fit in 2 classes that day, I ‘sold’ yoga to everyone I knew around me and I have been spending most of my days surfing yoga websites till I realized I was ready to make some BIG changes.

In all honesty, yoga did not come naturally to me. But I kept at it because every time I moved through some physical hurdle in my practice, I would see parallel benefits in my life. I treated people better, I slept and ate better; all-around I felt like a better person!
So how can yoga do this?
After taking hundreds of classes and practicing for thousands of hours, I do know that there is a special magic that happens in a room filled with students practicing yoga. Now that I am a certified yoga teacher I’m excited to share my 2 greatest passions; nutrition and (hot-)yoga.'

Raquel - Yoga Teacher

Raquel has been practicing yoga for over 10yrs and is happy to be part of the YogaVibe family. She is a proud gradute of Nature Care College. Among the many things she likes to share with her students are the philosophies of yoga, and how to intergrate these philosophies into our everyday lives. Raquel believes that the benefits of yoga are available to anyone who is willing to give it a try. The intergration of body, breath and mind is core to Raquel's teaching style - with an element of fun! Her goal as a teacher is to help students acheive their potential and help them find more grace and ease in their practice, which they can carry with them for the rest of the day.

Katie - Yoga Teacher

Katie wants to experience liberation in this lifetime. She wants to share and expand feelings of joy, love, compassion and equanimity. In each and every class Katie hopes to further her one goal of making the world a bit better through yoga. In class we will cultivate joyous energy, connect with the earth, flow with our breath and fill up with yin, meditation, pranayama, and sometimes chanting. Katie hopes to guide you to your inner teacher by connecting with breath and therefore prana. She feels blessed by Teachers Kim Groark, Christina Brown, Dr. Richard James Allen, Mark Breadner and Nicole Goodwin, who have inspired her seven years of hatha and flow practice and one year of teaching...thus far.
Desikachar reminds us that the teacher is one who opens your heart. A guru is one who gives you the tools to go out, live your truth, and teach others. Katie's goal is to create a peace in your heart so after each and every class you feel full and whole, as you are. Then we can take our yoga off the mat and meet all beings with peace, not react but respond,
to our environment. Good energy is contagious, thus we can
exponentially create more happiness, compassion, and peace
in the world, for the world, the earth, for us, and for consciousness.
Jai Shiva!

Fotini - Kids Yoga Teacher

Before becoming a Kids Yoga teacher, Fotini spent many years working with children in schools and childcare centres. Fotini has completed her Kids Yoga Training with Gopola Amir Yaffe, founder of Rainbow Kids yoga, Nikki Masaolli, Director of Yoga To Go and has furthered her studies with Loraine Rushton, Director of Zenergy Yoga, for Kids,Teenagers and Yoga Therapy.

Fotini believes children need space to have fun and be themselves. Children who practice yoga are better able to deal with thier emotions, manage stress and calm themselves in challenging times. I think yoga for children is a beautiful tool to be introduced to them as it helps them find inner peace.
